Project.
Dino-Rama! Is a family-friendly “mini-land” adjacent to Dino Land
USA. It
is comprised of approximately 215 tons of structural
steel to support the Cementasaurus, TriceraTop-Spin,
and the Primeval-Whirl attractions. |

Description: One of six islands located
at Universal Studios' Islands of Adventure theme park, this project required
approximately 3,500 tons of structural steel to support twelve separate
buildings. Sinbad's Arena, a large open-air theater is supported by two
25-ton, 150-foot long wide-flange steel trusses. Poseidon's Fury, a
walk-through attraction, is housed in an 850-ton multi-level steel
structure, and Mytho's Restaurant is a 600-ton steel frame building that
supports a carved rockwork structure. The Enchanted Oak Tavern is a
single-level structure with structural steel framing formed to simulate a
tree trunk that houses a tented glass skylight. |

Adventure, Orlando, FL |

Description: One of six islands located
at Universal Studios' Islands of Adventure theme park, Suess Landing
features eight independent buildings supporting various rides, attractions,
and restaurants. Sylvester McMonkey McBean, the centerpiece of the island,
houses an elevated ride. This is a 700 ton structure with a multi rolled
pipe roof system and many unique steel framed elements clad with fiber
reinforced plastic (FRP). The Big Top Buffeteria is a dine-in restaurant
with a structural steel frame in the shape of a large circus tent. The Cat
In The Hat is a single-level structure featuring unique façade curvatures
and a structural steel frame in the shape of a top hat. |

Description: The project consisted of
some of the most highly visible structures in Disney's Animal Kingdom. The
Tree of Life is a theater structure constructed to look like a tree, with
the main structure being 36-inch-diameter pipes.
