Refurbished VAB Doors and Openings

Customer: United Space Alliance (Prime Contractor to NASA)
Description: This project involved renovating the vehicle access doors in the Vertical Assembly Building in two High Bays, the South Transfer Aisle Door and the North Transfer Aisle Door. More specifically, the scope was to remove, lead abate, coat, rework mechanical components, replace siding and reinstall a total of 24 vehicle access doors ranging in size up to 40’ x 112’ and weighting up to 160,000 pounds each.
