Established in 1979, Met-Con is responsible for fabricating and erecting some of the most visible structures in Central Florida, including the new Orange County Convention Center, the Tree of Life at the center of Walt Disney’s Animal Kingdom, the Universal Studios parking structure, and many of the space launch complexes at the Kennedy Space Center (KSC). Our primary business is the fabrication and erection of structural steel. Met-Con’s main markets include the commercial, industrial, aerospace, and entertainment industries. Met-Con is also a general contractor. Additionally, we boast a crane division and a precision machine shop.
