Description: Provide building maintenance and cleaning services to mission critical areas such as clean rooms, Orbiter Processing Facilities, the Vertical Assembly Building, Launch Control Center Firing Rooms and other critical facilities supporting the Space Shuttle Program at Kennedy Space Center. Project averaged about 55 workers over its life.

Contract Name: Pad 39B Constellation Support Craft Labor Contract

Owner: Arctic Slope Research Corporation Aerospace as prime contractor to NASA at Kennedy Space Center
Contract Complete: February 2011
Description: Provide miscellaneous construction services to begin the process of activating the old shuttle launch pad at Pad B at Kennedy Space Center for future launch vehicles. Project averaged about 40 employees over its life. Disciplines included sitework, concrete, carpentry, structural steel, sandblast and coatings but was principally electrical.
