Project: Filler Trusses for Orange County Convention Center

Description: Fabrication and delivery of (192) 180 foot long x 19 foot deep trusses at the Exhibition Hall and fabricate and erect (31) 120 foot long steel trusses at the Concourse Level.

Project: Amway Events Center Parking Garage

Description: 8-level parking garage to serve the Orlando Magic’s new arena. Met-Con fabricated and erected the miscellaneous and structural steel as well as installed the architectural aluminum cladding.

Project: 55 West

Description: The 55 West on the Esplanade project consists of a 34-story mixed-use building and a 12-story attached parking garage located on Church Street in the heart of downtown Orlando, FL. Met-Con’s scope of work for this project included steel stairs for all (9) stairs located in the building and the parking garage, the large grand stair in the outdoor courtyard, structural framing for the glass storefront which fronts Church Street, structural framing for the glass canopy located on the 2nd level, structural framing to connect the building to the existing walkway bridge above Church Street, structural framing for the rolled “bell-curved” shaped roof and center spire.
